Social Connection
We produced a 16:9 case study film for the RSA exploring their vision for a more connected society. The piece brings together leading voices in social research and community practice to examine the importance of social capital in shaping opportunity, wellbeing, and inclusion. Through personal testimony and expert insight, the film highlights how meaningful relationships, cross-community connection, and access to networks can directly influence life outcomes, from employment to social mobility. The narrative positions social connection not as a soft concept, but as a measurable driver of societal change and resilience.
Rethinking Social Capital in a Disconnected World
The video explores the RSA’s mission to build kinder, closer, and more connected communities, and the growing evidence that social connection is a critical factor in addressing inequality and improving life chances. It reflects on how institutions, communities, and individuals can work together to strengthen relational infrastructure across society, from local initiatives to national policy.
