World Continence Week

Blueleaf Care – World Continence Week

Reframing Care for Every Resident

When Blueleaf Care chose to mark World Continence Week, the challenge was clear: support care homes in breaking the taboo around continence, promoting best‑practice and elevating dignity for residents.

Objectives Beyond Awareness

Blueleaf’s brief was to build a film that went beyond data and guidelines, delivering a narrative that resonates with care‑home staff, leadership and residents. The aim was to show how continence care can improve wellbeing, reduce waste and support sustainability—all while reinforcing the human side of care.

Bringing the Story to Life

We spent time in care‑home settings, filmed staff interacting with residents, captured moments of comfort, dignity and care workflow. We also captured educational sessions and best‑practice demo work by Blueleaf and partner brand TENA. The filming emphasised warmth, clarity and approachability. In post‑production we shaped the story to highlight three key themes: dignity in care, education for staff, and the positive impact on residents’ lives.

Highlighting Change from the Ground Up

Rather than focusing solely on products or policy, the film centres on action—how care‑home teams adopt new practices, how residents respond and how the culture shift happens. It positions Blueleaf as both a supplier and a partner for positive change.

A Film That Delivers Purpose

The final film reflects Blueleaf’s ambition for better continence care: one that respects residents, supports staff, improves outcomes and reduces environmental cost. It offers a narrative grounded in dignity, care and expertise.

Why Specialist Care‑Sector Storytelling Matters
