When I Grow Up

A police officer confronts his worst fears as a father when called to what he expects to be a routine domestic disturbance; instead of finding the body of a murdered man and the diary of a young girl who appears to be missing. The project recruited 12 unemployed young people through Jobcentre Plus in Yorkshire. Each trainee was able to pick and shadow one of the various departments on the production.
