Gold Star

We produced Gold Star, a narrative film telling the story of Joanna, an 18-year-old Jewish schoolgirl whose life changes after a one-night stand with a non-Jewish boy results in an unexpected pregnancy. As she navigates this turning point, she begins to explore Orthodox Judaism as a way of regaining control and making decisions about her future and her unborn child.
